Common Questions

FAQ

Polyurethane foam is inert, waterproof, and won't compress, shrink, or wash out. In most cases, a properly lifted slab will stay level indefinitely — provided the root cause (poor compaction, erosion) has been addressed.
Our minimum charge for any job is $1,000. This covers mobilization, materials, and our time on-site. Most residential jobs run $1,000–$2,500. We'll give you an exact written quote before any work begins.
Polyurethane foam lifting typically costs 30–50% less than concrete replacement. A driveway that might cost $8,000–$15,000 to tear out and replace can often be lifted and stabilized for $1,500–$4,000. We'll always tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense than lifting.
The injection ports are approximately 5/8 inch — the size of a dime. After the job we patch them with color-matched filler. They're visible on close inspection, but far less noticeable than mudjacking patches or saw-cut replacement lines.
Most settled slabs are good candidates for lifting. Slabs that are severely cracked, spalled, or structurally compromised may need replacement instead. We'll tell you honestly during the estimate which makes more sense — we won't lift a slab that's better replaced.
Most jobs are scheduled within the same week. We respond to every estimate request the same business day. For urgent situations — like settlement causing water to drain toward the foundation — we prioritize. Call us directly for fastest scheduling.
Yes. The two-part polyurethane foam we use is non-toxic once cured and does not leach into soil or groundwater. It's the same class of material used in food-service packaging and building insulation.
